Who we are and what this policy covers
Growth Stack Lab (“GSL”, “we”, “us”) publishes information about software tools for solo entrepreneurs, creators, freelancers and small businesses at getgrowthstacklab.com. GSL is operated by an individual in Japan who publishes under the pen name Minotavich Uroskov. For legally required information identifying the operator, please contact us at the address below. The operator handles these requests individually and will provide the required information without undue delay. Privacy enquiries: hello@getgrowthstacklab.com.
This policy explains our handling of information in connection with the GSL website, our free Tool Stack Checklist and the associated signup and delivery pages hosted through Systeme.io. It does not govern independent software vendors or other websites you visit through our links.
This policy also covers our invitation-only MailerLite email signup test and its related signup and confirmation pages. This test checks the signup and email confirmation process; it does not enrol participants in a newsletter or course.
This policy also covers our invitation-only Kit email signup test and its related signup and confirmation pages. This test checks email confirmation, delivery of our Email Signup Launch Checklist and the unsubscribe process. It does not enrol participants in a newsletter or course.
Information you provide
When you request the free checklist, we collect the email address you submit so we can send you the resource. Systeme.io stores the contact and associated signup and delivery records for this workflow. You can read our public articles without submitting the checklist form; an email address is required for delivery by email.
If you contact us, we receive the contact details and information you include in your message. Please avoid sending passwords, payment card details or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
If you are invited to take part in our MailerLite signup test, we collect the email address you submit. MailerLite stores the contact and associated signup and confirmation records. These records may include timestamps, confirmation status and technical information such as IP addresses and browser or device information processed in providing the service.
If you are invited to take part in our Kit signup test, we collect the email address you submit. Kit processes the contact and associated signup, confirmation, delivery and unsubscribe records. These may include timestamps, contact status, IP addresses, browser or device information, and email interactions such as opens or link clicks, depending on the service and settings in use.
How we use this information
We use checklist signup information to deliver the requested resource, handle delivery problems and maintain the related contact and delivery records. We use enquiries to respond to the questions you raise. Technical information helps us operate the website, investigate faults and protect it from misuse.
We use MailerLite test information to send the signup confirmation email, check the confirmation process and contact status, and investigate test problems. We do not use this test signup as permission to send newsletters, campaigns or course messages.
We use Kit test information to send the requested confirmation email, provide the checklist, check confirmation and unsubscribe status, and investigate test problems. We do not use this test signup as permission to send newsletters, campaigns or course messages.
Website and analytics information
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use our content and checklist journey. Depending on the page, browser choices and configuration, measurement can include page views, link interactions, device and browser information, approximate location and cookie-based identifiers. The hosting service also processes technical request information, such as IP addresses and requested pages, to serve and protect the site.
A click on a checklist link is different from a completed signup. Analytics reports can be incomplete and may not connect every step to the same visitor. Email delivery and contact records are maintained separately in Systeme.io.
Cookies and your choices
We use Cookiebot by Usercentrics on getgrowthstacklab.com and CookieYes on our checklist signup and thank-you pages at tamabon-mk-4.systeme.io to present and record cookie choices. You can refuse optional categories or change your choice using the cookie settings control on each site. On the main website, analytics is labelled Statistics; on the checklist pages, it is labelled Analytics. Choices on the main website and the checklist site are separate and are not synchronised between them.
Our configuration is designed to load Google Analytics after you allow analytics and stop it after withdrawal. Checklist pages reload when your choice changes. Consent services process information to display and remember your choices. Refusing analytics does not prevent article reading or access to the checklist form. Browser controls can also block or delete cookies but may affect features.
Kit-hosted test pages and emails may use cookies, unique identifiers, web beacons or similar technologies in providing the service. Cookie choices on getgrowthstacklab.com and our Systeme.io pages do not automatically apply to Kit-hosted pages. Kit’s Data Processing Addendum and Privacy Policy explain the relevant provider practices and responsibilities.

Affiliate links and other websites
Some articles contain affiliate links. If you follow one and take a qualifying action with the provider, GSL may earn a commission. The destination provider or affiliate platform may use referral identifiers, cookies or similar tools to attribute that action. Their notices and your choices on those services govern their own collection and use of information.
Following a vendor link takes you to a separate service. Please review its privacy information before creating an account or providing personal information. Our participation in an affiliate programme does not mean we operate that vendor’s service.
International processing
GSL operates from Japan. Our providers operate internationally, and information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and European countries. A provider’s registered country does not identify every storage, support or delivery location. The provider notices linked above explain their practices.
Retention and deletion
Our policy is to review records monthly. We normally remove checklist-only signup and delivery records once about three months have passed since delivery, and ordinary enquiries once about six months have passed since resolution. These are review targets, not automatic deletion settings or statutory periods.
Relevant records may be kept longer for unresolved issues, applicable legal requirements or a specific dispute. We review the scope and duration of exceptions. Privacy requests and requests to stop emails are handled separately, without waiting for the monthly review. Where needed to prevent unwanted emails, we retain only a minimal suppression record and review its necessity.
Google Analytics is currently configured to retain event-level data for two months and user-level data for fourteen months. The user-data retention period resets when there is new activity. These settings do not apply uniformly to standard aggregated reports. They are separate from our contact and enquiry review targets.
Deleted records may remain recoverable for a service’s recovery period. Service logs, backups and separately retained copies may follow different schedules; the review targets above do not promise immediate erasure of every provider copy.
For the MailerLite signup test, our policy is to review the test contact and associated signup and confirmation records and normally remove them within 30 days after the test is completed or discontinued. This is an operational review and deletion target, not an automatic deletion setting. We may retain test findings that do not identify participants. The exceptions and provider recovery, log and backup limitations described in this section also apply.
For the Kit signup test, our policy is to review the test contact and associated signup, confirmation, delivery and unsubscribe records and normally remove them within 30 days after the test is completed or discontinued. This is an operational review and deletion target, not an automatic deletion setting. We may retain test findings that do not identify participants. The exceptions and provider recovery, log and backup limitations described in this section also apply.
Requests and choices
You can contact hello@getgrowthstacklab.com with questions or requests concerning your information. Depending on applicable law, you may be entitled to access information, request correction or deletion, ask us to stop certain uses or disclosures, or exercise other rights. We may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records, without asking for more than necessary.
Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw that consent; withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You may also raise a concern with the relevant data protection authority where that right applies. The rights and any lawful exceptions depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
If an email includes an unsubscribe link, you may use it to request that further emails covered by that option stop. Unsubscribing and deleting your contact record are different actions. To ask about deletion of your records, contact us using the address above.
Security
GSL is managed by a single operator, who controls access to the administrative accounts used for the site and enquiries. We also rely on the security measures of the services we use.
No website or email system can eliminate every security risk. Please contact us if you believe information connected with GSL has been accessed or used improperly.
Changes and additional notices
We will update the effective date when this notice changes. If we introduce a new use of personal information, we will provide any additional notice and obtain any consent required before that use begins. A revision to this notice does not by itself create consent to a new purpose.
